The self-esteem movement has taught us everybody’s great, everybody gets a trophy. I’m not a murderer, I’m wonderful.

I am a Jesus follower!
I have a blended family, that makes four kids in the house three girls and one boy, Ages 16-21. I thank God for patience.
In 2012, I graduated with my degree in Christian ministry from Lee University.
I have done many things over the years before I let God direct my path. The jobs I held, restaurant hostess, Food Lion cashier, customer service manager at Nation Bank, tanning salon, nail tech, hairdresser, salon owner, secretary and gofer at tire store, pageant director/owner for Miss Lake Norman and Miss Central Carolina, Broker for Exit Realty and Total Realty, and Carolina Chi-Angus farm hand. I definitely didn't know what I wanted in life. After finally seeking God for direction, I got my degree and started working it the ministry. I have been a youth leader and worked as principal in a private Christian school. I finally realized when you seek God for direction, your life is so much more fulfilling. I just want to make a difference in someones life, just like the teachers and youth leaders did to me when I was a kid.
To all the teachers and leaders,
You might not think you are getting through to the kids you help, you feel like they shut you out. I am a walking example that God's word is true when He said "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." Isaiah 55:11
I thank God every day for the people He has put in my path to direct my life. It might have taken a few years for me, but I never forgot the messages my teachers and leaders gave me. They panted the seed I needed, to make me who i am today.
